4th November is the date of the fathom fixture between our 2 sides - we considered finding alternative opposition from those fathom sides who had a blank date or, indeed, from any central league sides with a blank. However it was felt that most clubs will be recovering from the depleted numbers of the last 2 weeks that accompany school half terms and the enthusiasm for the non scheduled fixtures would not be strong. We have therefore decided to try and use the fixture to recruit some additional players to our ranks. We have some initiatives in train to bring in new faces but if you know of any former players who may want to return to the fold or any friends/contacts who may want to try hockey for the 1st time - please bring them along. PLEASE MAKE YOURSELVES AVAILABLE TO PLAY so we can showcase our club to best advantage. BRING BOTHE WHITE & BLUE SHIRTS
